Project Planning and Defining:
The Project Planning phase provides the structure, timing, and objectives for the project.
During
this phase the project team is assembled, the orgizational and communication structures are set, major project objectives (deliverables)
are estiblished and a time line documenting the scheduling of the remaining steps is created. The Project Plan will contain
cost breakdowns and/or estimates if necessary.
Project Definition Documents include the following information:

Scope Description
B. Risk / Complexity Assessment
C. Organization and Resources
D. Roles and Responsibilities - Team
Members
E. Assumptions, Dependencies, and Contraints
F. Initial Project Schedule
G. Change Control Procedures ( Handling
Changes and Preventing Scope Creep)
H. Cost Breakdown or Estimate
